Seeking individuals ready to start a new career! If you are interested in getting into the medical field this is a great entry level position. Essentia will pay for your training to receive your Certified Nursing Assistant certification. Once you pass your test, you will be promoted to a CNA, including a raise and a schedule. The Nursing Assistant - Student program offers a NO COST training to individuals interested in pursuing a career as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) with Essentia Health. The program covers the full cost of education and the certification exam to become a CNA. EARN INCOME while training - providing indirect care to patients.Here's what the training will consist of:Responsible to assist the licensed professionals and direct care staff with personal cares per individualized care plans to maintain the personal comfort of the resident as assignedHelp maintain a clean, safe and organized environment for the residents. Assist with basic personal cares, including assistance in with meal setup and water passProvides activity and exercise for the residents as assignedAssists residents in dealing with psychosocial needsResponsible for observing and reporting any changes in a resident’s condition to the supervisorCompletes all required documentation in a complete and timely mannerMay assist with entrance screening and other duties as assigned.

Licensure/Certification Qualifications:

• Must successfully complete the facility required training courses
