Job Description

Education Qualifications:

Essentia Health is seeking a physical therapist to join our team at our outpatient therapy department located at Essentia Health-Sandstone.

In this position, the PT will:

  • Receive a $5,000 bonus, competitive pay and benefits, advancement opportunities through a career ladder, and moving expense reimbursement if eligible.

  • Primarily treat adult patients across the lifespan, with occasional inpatient care within the 10-bed hospital facility. Patients primarily have orthopedic and/or neuromusculoskeletal conditions.

  • Work with a rehabilitation team consisting of PT/PTA/OT/SLPs who work closely with both clinic and hospital care teams.

  • Have a flexible schedule, either five 8-hour days or four 10-hour days.

  • Provide coverage as part of a weekend call and holiday call rotation.

This position is open to new graduates.

About Essentia Health-Sandstone:

Essentia Health-Sandstone, opened in 2017, is a modern nine-bed Critical Access Hospital, offering robust services including PT, OT and SLP inpatient and outpatient care. The hospital is conveniently located off the I-35 Sandstone exit and is a Level IV Trauma Center and is an Acute Stroke Ready Hospital.
