Essentia Health Long Term Care Administrator in Virginia, Minnesota

Job Description:

Responsible to plan, organize and lead the day-to-day functions for the most efficient, effective operation possible in providing high quality care to meet the current and future health care needs of our residents. Collaborates with leaders to ensure consistency of practice, cross disciplinary collaboration, and implementation of new procedures and practices. Work Experience: 3 years of previous health care administration experience with the requirement of one(1) year as a nursing home administrator preferred. Must possess knowledge of state and federal rules and regulations governing long-term care facilities; knowledge of state and federal reimbursement; ability to read and interpret financial statements and conduct financial analysis; knowledge of current administrative and supervisor practices; knowledge of aging process and ability to work with the elderly and their families.

Education Qualifications:

Bachelors Degree in Nursing Home Administration, Health Services Administration or related fields of study preferred.

Licensure/Certification Qualifications:

Licensed as a nursing home administrator by the State of Minnesota.
